Czech Republic - 2024
On the top (6th) floor of the hotel here in Prague, but not much of a view from my window unless you like construction cranes
This is republic square, a short walk from the hotel in Prague is the gothic medieval city gate, and to the left of it in the distance those spires are supposed to be where old town center is, and to the right is metropolitan building (i think) where the constitution was read from the balcony when current CZ republic formed

A look over the city of Prague from near the Presidential Palace. Seems there are a small number of tall buildings after all, but not enough that they would lose UNESCO status...
This is the catholic church in the Prague castle grounds. Depending on what part of the church you are looking at, it was constructed between the 14th to 19th century

This is the entrance gate for the Vojna Memorial. A former soviet era forced labor camp (uranium mining). Note the sign over the gate is the same used on Nazi WW2 camps "Work will set you free"
Guard dog enclosure and watchtower at the main entrance gate of the Vojna Memorial. Note that the dog does not stay in there all the time, just after our tour started a caretaker came and took him off on a leash for a walk around the grounds and wasn't back when we left the site.
