India - 2018
A UNESCO World Heritage site, this 16th century tomb is said to be an inspiration for the Taj Mahal in Agra.
In the "Imperial City" area of New Delhi these government buildings frame the entrance to the residence of India's president. Theoretically if I faced the opposite direction from where this photo was taken you could see the India Gate war memorial, but in reality, you can't see it from here due to the smog.

Outside of the Hall of Private Audience (Diwan-I-Khas) of the City Palace in Jaipur. Note above that part of the building in the upper left of this photo is a flagpole and if there is a smaller half flag above the palace flag it means that royalty is in residence.
A zoom picture of the flags above the City Palace in Jaipur. The small flag above the palace flag means that H. H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of the present Royal Family is currently in residence
Note: In India cows always have the right of way

On the way into Ranthambore National Park to look for tigers.
Sadly, all of the tigers eluded us, and the closest we came to them was to see a few fresh tracks on the dirt roads in the park
Visiting a Hindu Temple
Our tour guide refers to this type of homemade vehicle as an India Volkswagen. A few of us were brave enough to ride into town standing in the back
Chand Baori stepwell in Abhaneri. I was told this was a location from one of the Batman movies
Viewing the Taj Mahal at sunset from the opposite side of the river at the gardens in Mehtab Bagh
On the grounds of the Taj Mahal at sunrise. We had to go first thing in the morning as the grounds were going to be closed after 9AM for a visit by the First Lady of South Korea
Another shot of the Taj Mahal from near the entrance gate

This is about the best still shot I could get of the Ganga Aarti evening ceremony on the bank of the river Ganges. Taken at about the max range of my camera as I was in a boat some distance out from the riverbank.
